We had three early pregnancy losses before having a viable pregnancy. I honestly think that being on progesterone in early pregnancy was what made my viable pregnancy viable. I used vaginal suppository. My doctor thought that those were more effective. They definitely raised my progesterone. Every time I would try to come off them (at my doctor's discretion), my progesterone would drop a lot and we'd restart them. I ended up being on them until about week 9 or 10 (placenta takes over after that!).

Progesterone suppositories are kind of messy. Use them right before you go to bed. That way, it has lots of time to be absorbed and doesn't leak as badly (but everyone is right about the suppository!).

Also, try to limit how much you google things in early pregnancy. I totally, totally freaked myself out. A lot of time stuff you can find is wrong and just plain scary. Try to enjoy being pregnant (which is really, really hard in that nerve-wracking first trimester, especially after all you've been through!!) and know that you are doing all you can do! Congrats!!An Aspiring Mom-To-Behttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10992930120701508109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777891948580766843.post-52535974948141529132012-01-18T13:15:35.032-08:002012-01-18T13:15:35.032-08:00Yay congrats!Yay congrats!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777891948580766843.post-2753974208714076312012-01-18T10:50:13.893-08:002012-01-18T10:50:13.893-08:00Congrats on the BFP. It is significantly less messy than the compounded stuff or Endometrin. They come in 100 and 200 mg caps. I use 200 mg once nightly. Its heaven compared to the other stuff.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777891948580766843.post-59234376200236340932012-01-18T08:52:30.111-08:002012-01-18T08:52:30.111-08:00Congratulations!
